NAVARATHRI CELEBRATIONS
Navaratri or Dasara is being celebrated throughout our country. These are being celebrated to remember how Devi Durgamatha killed various demons in order to bring peace. She waged war against various demons and their followers, the demon soldiers. All these are elaborately written in Devi Bhagavatham and many other Puranas. Kanyaka Parameswari who is Matha herself is worshipped as Parvathi. Hence during the Navaratri days Kanyaka Parameswari is specially worshipped in nine forms or avataras one each day. Special decorations, costumes, weapons are given to the Utsava Vigraham to form various avatars. A small effort is done to describe each one in brief.

ఉదయం 8.30 నిమిషములకు శ్రీ కన్యకా పరమేశ్వరిదేవి ఆలయము నుండి మంగళ వాయిద్యములతో బయలుదేరి శ్రీ తెల్లాకుల శివయ్య గారి శ్రీ నగరేశ్వర స్వామి దేవస్థానం నుండి శ్రీ కన్యకా పరమేశ్వరిదేవి పురాణం తీసుకొని వచ్చుట్ట

ఉదయం10.30 నిమిషముల పైన శ్రీ మహాగణపతి పూజ , పుణ్యహవచనం ,మాత్రుకాపూజ ,పంచగవ్య ప్రోక్షణ ,రక్షాబందనము ,దీక్షాదారణ ,నవగ్రహ ,వాస్తుమండల ఆరాధానములు ,ప్రధాన కలసస్టాపన దీక్ష హోమము మరియు ప్రతి నిత్యమూ చండీ వేద జప అభిషేక పారయానాదులు రుద్రాభిషేకము తదితర పూజ కార్యక్రములు ,మహామంగళ హారతి ,వేదస్వస్తి ,తీర్తప్రసాద వినియోగములు .
సాయంత్రం
6.15 నిమిషములకు ప్రదోష కాల పూజ ,సర్వతో భద్రమండల యంత్రార్చన దీక్ష హోమము , మంగళ హారతి , మంత్రపుష్పము , రజిత శ్రీ చక్ర మేరువునకు గంధముతో అర్చన మరియు తీర్థ ప్రసాద వితరణ

Amma is praised as Chidrupi, Paradevatha, Bhagavathi, Rajarajeswari (from Lalitha Sahasranamam). She is Jnana Swaroopini (the embodiment of Jnana or wisdom). She holds in her right hand the wand of the universal ruler and in the left she hold a sugar cane. Sugarcane is symbolic to sweet juice, the juice of bliss (Atma Gnana – the self realization). She wears jewels on the shoulders made of diamonds and other costly stones. Her wears beautiful diamond chains, broad ear rings and so many jewels. She is Alankara Priya. According to Indian culture which as old as the creation of humanity wearing of jewel all over the body is a symbol of prosperity which brings good to family. You can see no woman without at least a single jewel in India.
Being Mother of all, she is the great ruler of the three lokas. All the living beings are her children, she blesses them all. She thrashes those who are wicked and arrogant and harmful to other.
Suratha was a king who was defeated and thrown out his kingdom. Rajarajeswari Devi protected her devotee and brought him back to the throne. She also made him the future ‘Manu’.
